Explore Cameron Park, California

Cameron Park is part of the Sacramento metropolitan area situated in the Northern California Gold Country of the Sierra Nevada foothills. It is approximately 30 miles (50 km) east of Sacramento and 70 miles (110 km) west of South Lake Tahoe.

There are several shopping areas, a championship golf course and country club, a recreational lake and the Cameron Airpark Estates which provide an opportunity for residents who are pilots to commute from home to destination without leaving their airplane. Adjacent to the Airpark Estates sits the man-made Cameron Park Lake with a natural trail that circles the lake, picnic areas, tennis courts, as well as a sandy beach and swimming area. Cameron Park Lake is the site of the Summer Spectacular, which is an annual event with entertainment, food, vendors, and a world-class fireworks show over the lake as the sun sets.
